Today in short ab stab at #Wirecard court case. Former CFO Von Erffa was questioned by the judge about and in all sorts of bizarre things that vE was able to refute and defend against quite well. ๐งต
The judge's strategy in the morning was to accuse von Erffa of having "often interfered in controlling and accounting", this also according to statements made during interrogations years ago.
von Erffa was able to refute these accusations quite well, as he credibly explained that he had been involved in "cross-business process optimizations, e.g. with regard to IT systems" in controlling, for example, but that he had otherwise NOT participated in other department's direct tasks.
The judge also tried to blame von Erffa for his assembly of preliminary TPA figures. Here, too, von Erffa was able to credibly demonstrate that it was the prosecution's key witness Bellenhaus who "preferred to be at a race in Monaco or at trade fairs" instead of providing TPA figures for the quarterly figures.
Von Erffa also explained that he was not primarily responsible for the TPA figures, after the judge also wanted to accuse him of not having correctly requested the TPAs' invoices.
Von Erffa stated that his accounting department had not been authorized to request invoices from dealers - especially abroad. In most cases, he was not allowed to contact customers directly.
Although this should have been known to the court and the Munich public prosecutor's office for months, pressure was put on the former CFO a few weeks ago with the help of mass media representatives to make a "confession
As my reports from the courtroom are largely ignored and slandered, here is the day in question with the attempted blackmail by the court and the public prosecutor's office of von Erffa.

1 moment was significant when the non-technical #Wirecard judge asked the many so-called "German mass media journalists" present today for a change why vE could not send emails to Jan Marsalek, because he had "different mail server hardware
The mass media, equally tech-illiterate German "journalists" start typing. When von Erffa corrects the judge and says that it was more a different email software than a different hardware, the #Wirecard judge insists on his "hardware
It was not much worth mentioning to most German mass media journalists with no affinity for or education in technology that the external company e-mail account was required for international customer activities for technical reasons(!), since the account belonged to Jan Marsalek.
